1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of crxpay, operated by Talksurge ("we", "crxpay"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. The service
crxpay provides infrastructure for selling subscriptions and one-time purchases inside Chrome extensions: an SDK, hosted paywalls, dashboards, and integrations with payment processors (currently Stripe via Connect). You retain full ownership of your customer relationships and your revenue.
3. Your account
- You must be 18+ and able to enter into a contract.
- You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
- Don't share an account across multiple organizations — use the team features when those ship.
- You may close your account at any time from project settings.
4. Pricing & fees
The platform is free until your extension reaches $2,500 in cumulative processed revenue. After that, we charge a 2.5% platform feeon each transaction (collected automatically via Stripe Connect's application_fee_percent). Stripe's own processing fees (~2.9% + $0.30) are separate and go to Stripe — not us.
Pricing changes apply only to future transactions and require 30 days' written notice via the email on your account.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use crxpay to:
- Sell anything illegal in your or your customer's jurisdiction.
- Run schemes designed to defraud users (deceptive trial enrolment, dark patterns, undisclosed renewals).
- Chain to a malware-distribution extension or one that harvests sensitive user data without consent.
- Reverse-engineer the SDK to bypass our platform fee.
- Stress-test our infrastructure outside of explicitly-agreed load testing.
Violations result in account suspension. We'll notify you and give you reasonable time to cure non-egregious issues.
6. Your content & data
You own your data: customer records, paywalls, products, prices, experiments. We process it on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. On account closure, we provide a 30-day window to export everything before deletion.
7. Intellectual property
The crxpay platform, SDK, dashboards, and brand are ours. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them while your account is active and in good standing. The MIT-licensed open-source SDK pieces remain MIT-licensed regardless of account status.
8. Service availability
We target 99.9% uptime monthly on the API and dashboard. Status and incidents are published at status.crxpay.io. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 24 hours in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers (Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend) — though we'll always work to mitigate.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to crxpay is capped at the greater of (a) $100 USD, or (b) the platform fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including lost revenue, data, or profits).
10. Termination
Either party can terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate immediately for material breach (especially fraud, illegal use, or platform-fee evasion). On termination, you have 30 days to migrate your data and customers off the platform.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. Disputes go through good- faith negotiation first; unresolved disputes are submitted to binding arbitration in [VENUE].

12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
